Higgsfield's "33 Days of Unlimited Seedance 2.5": The Real Terms, Tier by Tier

Higgsfield announced 33 days of Seedance 2.5 at zero credit cost on its X account. The offer is real. It is also tiered, capped, and gated behind a toggle that is off by default for some users.
Higgsfield published the terms itself (33 Days of Unlimited Seedance 2.5). This is a plain reading of them.
The promise
The announcement on X framed it simply: Seedance 2.5 at zero credit cost for 33 days. That is the headline most people acted on.
The word doing the work is "unlimited", which here means unlimited generations, not unlimited output length. Clip length is where the tiering lives.
The real terms, tier by tier
| Plan | Billing | Access window | Max clip length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | Monthly | No unlimited Seedance 2.5 access | n/a |
| Pro | Annual | 22 days | 20-30s |
| Plus | Monthly | Full 33 days | 10s |
| Plus | Annual | Full 33 days | 20-30s |
| Max | Monthly | Full 33 days | 15s |
| Max | Annual | Full 33 days | 20-30s |
| Ultra | Monthly | Full 33 days | 20-25s |
| Ultra | Annual | Full 33 days | 20-30s |
Two details are easy to miss:
Monthly Pro is excluded. If you are on Pro billed monthly, the promotion does not apply to you at all. Annual Pro gets a shorter 22-day window rather than the full 33.
Monthly clip caps scale with tier. Ten seconds on Plus is a different product from 25 seconds on Ultra. For most short-form ad work, 10 seconds is one shot, not one ad.
The toggle that catches people out
Higgsfield exposes an "Unlimited" switch in the model menu. If it is off, generations run the normal way and draw from your credit balance, even when your plan qualifies for the promotion.
How to check before you generate:
- Open the video generator and select Seedance 2.5 in the model picker.
- Look for the Unlimited option in the same menu or settings panel.
- Turn it on. Confirm the generation cost shown before you submit reads zero credits rather than a credit figure.
- Set clip length within your tier''s cap. Requesting a longer clip than your tier allows is another way to fall out of the promotion path.
- After the first render, check your credit balance. If it moved, the toggle was not applied.
Why users report being charged credits
Most of the "I was still charged" reports we have seen are consistent with one of three causes:
- The Unlimited toggle was left off.
- The account is on monthly Pro, which is excluded.
- The requested clip length exceeded the tier cap.
None of those require bad faith on the platform''s side. They do require the buyer to read the terms, which is a fair criticism of how the offer was announced versus how it was documented.
Verdict
As a promotion, this is strong. Thirty-three days of uncapped generation volume on a current-generation model is worth more than most credit packs, particularly on annual billing where clip length reaches 20-30 seconds.
The caveat is the same one that applies across this category: know the caps going in. A monthly Plus subscriber expecting 20-second clips will be disappointed at 10 seconds, and a monthly Pro subscriber expecting anything will get nothing.
Compare that with what happened at Artlist in the same window, where a model was withdrawn from an unlimited plan mid-term. Caps disclosed up front are a product decision. Caps applied afterwards are a dispute.

Frequently asked questions
Is Higgsfield''s Seedance 2.5 promotion actually unlimited? Unlimited in generation count, not in output length. Every tier has a maximum clip length, from 10 seconds on monthly Plus up to 20-30 seconds on annual plans. The window is 33 days for most qualifying tiers and 22 days for annual Pro.
Does the Pro plan get unlimited Seedance 2.5? Monthly Pro does not qualify for the promotion. Annual Pro gets a 22-day window rather than the full 33 days, with clip lengths in the 20-30 second range like other annual tiers.
Why was I charged credits during the promotion? The most common cause is the Unlimited toggle in the model menu being left off, which routes the generation through your normal credit balance. Being on monthly Pro, or requesting a clip longer than your tier cap, produces the same result.
How do I confirm the promotion is applied? Select Seedance 2.5, enable the Unlimited option, and check that the cost shown before submitting reads zero credits. After the first render, verify your credit balance has not moved.
Is it worth upgrading a plan for this offer? Only if the clip cap at the upgraded tier matches your output. Moving from monthly to annual billing raises the cap to 20-30 seconds, but it also commits you for a year, which is the exact risk the Artlist case illustrates.
