Answer

What is an AI video ad competition and how does it work?

For new submissions under the current agreement, creators assign all transferable rights they own in the entry to AdArena on submission, including non-winning entries. AdArena manages presentation, distribution and sales. Reusing, selling or uploading the same entry elsewhere requires AdArena’s written permission. Brands receive commercial rights only through a paid transaction under the applicable agreement; an entry or ranking alone is not permission to use it. Extra package bonuses are discretionary and do not reduce promised prizes or the stated creator payment for a standard buyout. Earlier submissions keep their applicable terms.

    The definition

It is a competition, not a marketplace and not a generator. A marketplace lets you hire one creator; a generator multiplies one script. A competition puts many independent interpretations of the same brief in front of you at once and settles the question of which idea is strongest by comparison.

How a round works, step by step

    • 1. Brief — the brand defines audience, offer, message, brand kit and no-gos.
    • 2. Prize pool — funded up front and held until winners are selected. AdArena pools start at $5,000.
    • 3. Open submissions — the brief reaches 2,000+ creators, who produce and submit finished ads.
    • 4. Judging — the brand shortlists and ranks on hook, clarity, brand fit and runability.
    • 5. Winners paid — prizes are distributed across winning positions.
    • 6. IP transfer — commercial rights through paid transactions under the applicable agreement pass to the brand.

    What a brand actually receives

Ignite: $7,500, including $5,000 in prizes and $2,500 in service fees. 15 winning places; 10 submission days. Amplify: $15,000, including $10,000 in prizes and $5,000 in service fees. 30 winning places; 14 submission days. Dominate: $25,000, including $15,000 in prizes and $10,000 in service fees. 50 winning places; 14 submission days. Prices are in USD, before 18% VAT for Israeli billing and a 2.5% card surcharge where card payment is available. Checkout or your approved quote confirms the final amount and payment methods. Package days are the submission window. Publication follows brief, funding and launch approval. Winner announcement is scheduled within 7 days after submissions close; this is not delivery time from signup. Submission volume and reach depend on the brief, timing and creator participation. They are not the number of videos you have purchased or a promise of advertising results.

    Why creators take part

Prizes are real and paid, portfolios and rankings compound across rounds, and winners are frequently hired directly afterwards. That is what keeps the field deep — and a deep field is the entire mechanism by which the brand finds a winning ad.
